Antenna Foundation was part of the opening of Espacio O's new showroom where the solo exhibitions of two of our distinguished represented artists, Pascual Ovalle and César Gabler, were presented.

This inauguration not only marked the beginning of a new stage for the gallery, but also reaffirmed the commitment of Antenna Foundation to the promotion and support of the visual arts in all its manifestations. Its participation in this event is a sign of its effort to make visible the talent of emerging and consolidated artists, promoting cultural exchange and the appreciation of art in our community.

    About Antenna

Fundación Antenna is a private non-profit organization dedicated to promote cultural development in Chile. Its working model is based on collaboration, with a primary focus on building an active and engaged community, in addition to strong cultural project management.

The foundation is inspired by the belief that art has a transformative power, capable of questioning and enriching our perception of the world. From this perspective, it promotes the strengthening of ties between people passionate about culture and encourages philanthropy as a tool to generate a significant impact on Chilean society.

Through initiatives such as the Antenna Sessions and its Projects area, the organization aims to sensitize the community and mobilize it towards positive change, celebrating the diversity of human experiences and the essential role of art as a source of inspiration and a driver of cultural development.

  • Sympathy for the Débil

    César Gabler

In this exhibition, César presents a series of paintings that explore the role of masculinity and its vulnerability in contemporary times. The title of the exhibition is a clever play on words based on “Sympathy for the Devil”, the iconic Rolling Stones song included in their album released in December 1968, one of the band's most acclaimed.

  • Sun Exposure

    Pascual Ovalle

This is Pascual's first solo show, in which the artist explores the dehumanization that surrounds the experience of being ill, questioning the social, emotional and cultural dynamics that run through this process. The work takes as its starting point Susan Sontag's famous reflection on the “dual citizenship” that we all share between the realm of the healthy and the sick, exploring how this duality affects our perception of human vulnerability. Through a visual proposal loaded with symbolism and sensitivity, Ovalle invites the viewer to reflect on the impact of illness not only on the body, but also on identity and connection with others.
