Statement

For me, art has been a tool to ground or materialize things that surprise me or arouse my curiosity. I have a special fascination with light and the passage of time, and I feel the need to grasp onto them through observation and experimentation.

I consider creative processes to be a very valuable part of the artwork, and it's where I invest most of my energy. Starting a new piece is like entering a game terrain: defining some rules and starting to play. That's where the best encounters are born. Painting, drawing, photography, and video are the main techniques I use.

At times, absurdity makes itself present, primarily with an attitude of unsettling the laws of the obvious. I believe we cannot ignore that light allows us to perceive the world; things exist because we see them. And we cannot ignore that time only passes and does not stop; we are a part of it.
